Mr. Barous has been with the firm since 2001 and became a partner in 2009. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John's University and his Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School. He served as a Clerk of the Honorable Budd Goodman, Supreme Court of the State of New York, New York County and was admitted to the United States Supreme Court in April of 2002. Mr. Barous has devoted a large portion of his legal career to the City of New York in either the defense of municipalities against civil lawsuits, as Assistant Counsel for the Mayor's Office of Midtown Enforcement, or as an Agency Attorney III for the New York City Department of Correction.
